Pork zrazy with pickles is a hearty and aromatic dish of Russian cuisine, where tender meat envelops a spicy filling. Historically, zrazy originated in the noble houses of Lithuania and Poland but eventually became part of Russian culinary tradition. These zrazy are distinguished by their rich flavor due to the harmonious combination of tender pork mince, golden onions, and crunchy pickles. The breading gives them an appetizing golden appearance and a slight crispness. They are served hot, often with a side of mashed potatoes or fresh vegetables. They can be prepared for both everyday dinners and festive tables – they invariably impress with their juiciness and richness of flavor nuances.
