Squid brizole is an elegant dish of French cuisine where the delicate sea flavor of squid combines with a light batter. The name 'brizole' comes from the French word 'brisé', meaning 'to break', as squids are lightly pounded before cooking. Fried to a golden crust, they acquire a crispy texture and when rolled up, create an exquisite presentation. Seasoned with fresh herbs, they offer a subtle aroma and are perfect as a festive treat or an exquisite appetizer for white wine. The ease of preparation makes brizole accessible even for novice cooks, while its refined taste impresses with its harmony.
