Grilled mackerel with yogurt sauce

Separate the fillet from the bones.
- Mackerel: 1 piece

Mix oil, paprika, salt, pepper, and garlic pressed through a press.
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
- Paprika: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste
- Garlic: 2 cloves

Grease the mackerel fillet on the inside with this oil.
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon

Let it marinate for 15–20 minutes.

Place the mackerel on the heated grill with the marinated side down. Brush the skin side with oil, salt, and pepper. Bake for 15 minutes. If cooking in the oven, preheat to 200 degrees and bake the fish for 15 minutes on the top rack.

Prepare the sauce: finely chop the gherkins and parsley, and press the garlic. Add them to the yogurt, season with salt and pepper.
- Gherkins: 3 pieces
- Parsley: 10 g
- Garlic: 2 cloves
- Natural yoghurt: 200 ml
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste

Serve the fish on a bed of lettuce leaves with cherry tomatoes and sauce.
- Mixed salad leaves: to taste
