Bulgur with stewed chicken and vegetables is a traditional dish of Turkish cuisine that combines simplicity and rich flavor. Bulgur, a popular grain crop, has a light nutty aroma and tender texture. Combined with juicy stewed chicken, sweet peppers, and onions, it creates a harmony of flavors reminiscent of home comfort. The dish is nutritious, rich in beneficial substances, and perfect for a family dinner. The cooked bulgur absorbs the aroma of vegetables and spices, making each forkful rich and tasty. In Turkey, it is often served as a main dish or side to meat, enjoyed with yogurt sauces and fresh herbs.

In a pot or deep skillet, heat some butter or vegetable oil, add bulgur, and stir to coat all the grains in the oil. Then add water (there should be twice as much water as bulgur), cover with a lid, and cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes.
