Breaded lamb brisket is a traditional Estonian dish that embodies the heartiness and comfort of home cooking. The brisket, after gentle boiling and pressing, becomes incredibly tender, while the breading gives it a crispy golden crust. The dish has a rich meaty flavor that pairs wonderfully with sides like fried potatoes, mashed potatoes, or fresh vegetables. Its origins trace back to rural Estonian cuisine where the skill of working with meat was an important part of culinary traditions. This dish is perfect for those who appreciate the combination of juicy meat and crispy texture.
