Boiled meat steak with onions is a simple yet exquisite dish of European cuisine that combines the tenderness of boiled meat with the aroma of golden fried onions. The history of this recipe originates from the traditions of preparing meat dishes when boiled meat was used to create more filling and appetizing variations. The meat, pre-cleaned and slightly beaten, becomes soft and juicy after brief boiling and then acquires an appetizing crust when fried in butter. Onion rings, boiled until semi-cooked and then fried, add a sweet spiciness to the dish. The steak is served with various side dishes—from fried potatoes to zucchini and fresh vegetables—making it a versatile choice for a family dinner or cozy lunch.

Clean the meat from tendons and partially from fat, lightly pound it, and shape it into a pancake. Grease the bottom of the pot with oil, place the meat, fill it halfway with water, cover with a lid, and boil for 5-7 minutes, then remove the meat, let it dry slightly, and fry it in oil on both sides.
