Pearl barley with feta and basil is an exquisite dish of Italian cuisine that harmoniously combines simplicity and sophistication. The pearl barley soaked in aromatic chicken broth becomes tender and rich. Sautéed onions and garlic in butter add depth to the flavor, while lemon juice adds a refreshing tang. The final touch is fragrant red basil and spicy parsley, which together with feta and olive oil make the dish light yet hearty.
