    Clean the potatoes, cut into large pieces, and place them in a pot. Cover with cold water to submerge all the potatoes. Put on high heat. After boiling, reduce to medium heat, slightly open the lid to prevent water from escaping, and cook until the potatoes are tender for about 15-20 minutes.
