Steamed cod with chickpeas is a dish that combines the tenderness of fish and the nutty flavor of chickpeas. It originates from Russian cuisine, where special attention is given to healthy eating and simple yet exquisite combinations. Chickpeas, rich in protein and fiber, add heartiness to the dish, while steaming preserves the cod's softness and natural taste. The light acidity of apple cider vinegar and the aroma of herbs enhance the flavor profile. This dish is perfect for a light yet nutritious dinner, suitable for those who maintain a healthy lifestyle. Serving warm cod with chickpea salad creates a harmony of textures and flavors, making it not only healthy but also a true gastronomic delight.
