Mai Tai cocktail with liqueur

Mai Tai is one of the most legendary cocktails, born in the mid-20th century in the spirit of tiki culture. The name translates from Tahitian as 'Best of the Best', and indeed, the combination of light rum, liqueurs, and fresh lime juice creates a delightful balance of sweet and sour flavors. Falernum adds notes of spices and almond, while a final touch of aged rum poured on top gives depth and complexity. It is served in a rocks glass with ice and garnished with a lime chip, mint sprig, and cherry, making it not only delicious but also aesthetically appealing. This cocktail is perfect for exotic-themed parties, beach relaxation or simply for connoisseurs of refined flavor combinations.
