Orancello is a refined artisanal liqueur with a vibrant aroma of fresh oranges and delicate sweetness. Its history is inspired by traditional Italian citrus infusions, but this recipe harmoniously combines the natural acidity of the fruit with the softness of sweet syrup. Through careful maceration of the zest in vodka, the drink acquires a rich flavor with slight bitter notes, while the addition of freshly squeezed orange juice and sugar creates a perfect balance. Orancello is ideal for consumption chilled in frozen shot glasses, revealing the full depth of citrus nuances. It can be served as a standalone aperitif, added to cocktails, or used to soak desserts, creating unique gastronomic masterpieces.

1
Wash the oranges and carefully peel them. Try not to touch the white film, as too much of it can make the liqueur bitter. It's easiest to peel using a vegetable peeler, making thin strips. Place all the peel in a jar, cover with vodka, and store in the fridge or another cool, dark place for 5 days.
- Oranges: 5 piece
- Vodka: 0.7 l
2
Put the oranges, or rather what is left of them, in a bag, tie it tightly, and store it in the fridge. In 5 days, when we continue making the liqueur, they will be needed. On the sixth day, strain the orange infusion, separating the liquid from the zest. The zest will no longer be needed, so feel free to throw it away.
3
From the oranges, from which the zest was removed in the first stage and which have been stored in the refrigerator for the past 5 days, squeeze out the juice. You should get about half a liter (0.5 liters). If it's less, add water to reach the desired volume. Mix the orange juice with 0.5 kg of sugar and place it on the stove over high heat. Stir while heating until the sugar completely dissolves.
- Oranges: 5 piece
- Sugar: 0.5 kg
4
Cool the prepared syrup completely. Mix the syrup with orange liqueur, pour the resulting liqueur into a bottle, and refrigerate for another 2-3 days. Serve the finished liqueur chilled in frozen shot glasses or glasses.
