Ginger and cinnamon green tea is a warming drink that combines the fresh tartness of green tea with the spiciness of ginger and the warmth of cinnamon. This recipe is inspired by traditional Eastern tea ceremonies where ginger is used for vitality and cinnamon for flavor softness. The drink has a pronounced aroma, slightly spicy and refreshing, with a light sweetness of honey. It not only warms in cold weather but also aids digestion, helping the body recover. Ideal for cozy evenings or morning awakenings, this tea creates a sense of harmony and comfort while revealing the depth of flavor nuances from simple yet powerful ingredients.

1
Clean the ginger root.
- Ginger root: 20 g
2
Place green tea (I have milk oolong), cinnamon, and grated ginger in a heat-resistant glass pitcher.
- Green tea: 2 teaspoons
- Ground cinnamon: 0.5 teaspoon
- Ginger root: 20 g
3
Boil 1 liter of water and pour it into a jug. Cover it and let it steep for 20-25 minutes.
- Water: 1 l
4
Strain the resulting tea through a sieve (I pour it into a teapot with a strainer in the center), and discard the spice residue.
5
Pour into cups, add honey to taste (I add 1 teaspoon of honey per 200 ml cup).
- Honey: to taste
6
Serve warm.
