Mint lemonade is a refreshing drink loved in many parts of the world. In Russian cuisine, it is valued for its simplicity and natural taste. The combination of the acidity of fresh lemon juice, the sweetness of sugar, and refreshing mint notes creates a harmonious and invigorating flavor. This lemonade is especially good on hot summer days, helping to quench thirst and provide a sense of freshness. Traditionally, it is made by briefly boiling mint and lemon peels to release the aromatic properties of the ingredients. After cooling and straining, the drink is filled with lemon juice, achieving a perfect balance of sour-sweet notes. It is served chilled and garnished with fresh mint leaves, making it not only tasty but also aesthetically pleasing. An ideal choice for a summer picnic or cozy tea time on the terrace.
