The julep is one of the oldest cocktails in the world, and has been drunk in the southern states since at least the late 18th century. It is usually made with bourbon, but this one is made with cognac.

In a small glass, muddle mint leaves with sugar and a couple of drops of water.
- Mint leaves: 10 pieces
- Sugar: 1 teaspoon

Pour in the cognac and peach brandy, fill the glass with crushed ice, and stir thoroughly for 20-30 seconds.
- Cognac: 50 ml
- Peach liqueur: 15 ml
