In a saucepan, mix all the ingredients. Bring to almost boiling (without letting it boil!) and simmer on very low heat for 20 minutes.
- Cider: 2 l
- Cinnamon sticks: 3 pieces
- Grated orange zest: 2 teaspoons
- Carnation: 3 pieces
- Ground allspice: 0.1 teaspoon
