Pina Colada
1 serving
10 minutes
Pina colada is one of the most iconic cocktails, symbolizing tropical serenity and sweet pleasure. Its history begins in the Caribbean region, where the art of mixing rum with fruits became particularly popular. The drink's delicate and velvety taste is revealed through a combination of sweet pineapple flesh, aromatic rum, creamy coconut milk, and a light caramel note from sugar syrup. It is served in a whole pineapple, creating a true exotic ritual that transports you to a world of beach relaxation and summer sun. Garnished with a cocktail cherry and green leaves, this drink delights not only in taste but also in appearance. Perfect for parties, romantic evenings, and relaxing by the water.

1
Cut off the top part with leaves from a large pineapple (choose a fruit that is beautiful - not wilted or damaged: it will be needed for decoration) - and set it aside.
- Pineapple: 1 piece
2
Use a special pineapple corer to extract the flesh (only half is needed for one serving, the other can be kept for decoration or eaten right away), squeeze out 100 ml of juice from it and strain it.
- Pineapple: 1 piece
3
Shake pineapple juice with rum, sugar syrup, and coconut cream several times in a shaker and pour into a hollow pineapple. For the perfect piña colada, you need Puerto Rican Coco Lopez cream — thick and with a very rich flavor. You can buy ready-made sugar syrup or make it yourself. Mix sugar and water in a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio. You can also add ice — but it's not necessary.
- Pineapple: 1 piece
- Light rum: 50 ml
- Sugar syrup: 20 ml
- Coconut cream: 2 teaspoons

Garnish the piña colada with green leaf fronds, a cocktail cherry, and colorful umbrellas.
- Cocktail cherry: 1 piece
