The B-52 cocktail is a legendary layered shot that captivates not only with its striking appearance but also with its rich flavor. Its history dates back to the 1960s, and its name is inspired by the American bomber B-52. The drink consists of three layers: coffee liqueur, creamy Baileys, and anise sambuca. The uniqueness of the cocktail lies in its presentation — the sambuca is ignited to create a mesmerizing blue flame. The B-52 has a deep and smooth taste with hints of coffee, cream, and spicy notes. This cocktail is perfect for dramatically ending an evening and creating an unforgettable atmosphere. It is consumed in one go through a straw until the flame goes out, adding a special dramatic flair to the ritual.

1
Pour coffee liqueur, such as Kahula, into the bottom of a thick-walled glass.
- Coffee liqueur: 20 ml
2
Then we insert a dessert spoon into the glass and carefully pour in the cream liqueur, such as Baileys, to prevent the two types of liqueur from mixing.
- Cream liqueur: 20 ml
3
Now we pour sambuca as the third layer in the same way.
- Sambuca: 20 ml
4
Sambuca is ignited with a match or a lit toothpick. It needs to be held for a while and moved in a circle over the glass until a blue flame appears.
- Sambuca: 20 ml
5
You should wait a bit while the sambuca is burning, and then drink it through a straw in one go.
