Coffee with airy milk foam
1 serving
10 minutes
Coffee with airy milk foam is a refined and delicate drink that comes from European coffee culture. It resembles classic cappuccino but stands out with its soft texture and lightness. It is prepared carefully: first, ground coffee is heated in a cezve and then brewed over low heat, revealing the richness of flavor nuances. The main highlight is the airy milk foam that creates a tender, velvety consistency. Heated whole milk is whipped until soft, fluffy foam forms and is gently placed on top of hot coffee. This drink is perfect for morning awakening or a cozy evening.

1
Heat the cezve on the stove. Add ground coffee and warm it slightly. Add room temperature water, stir, and keep on high heat for 2 minutes. Then reduce the heat to medium, ensuring the coffee doesn't boil.
- Ground coffee: 1 tablespoon
2
Coffee should be brewed on low heat for about 5 minutes.
3
Meanwhile, pour milk into a small jar with a tight screw lid. The milk should be warm, but not hot. If heating in the microwave, 10 seconds is enough. If on the stove, make sure the milk doesn't form a film-like foam.
- Full-fat milk: 0.3 glass
4
Shake the warmed milk in a jar for 1 minute to froth it.
- Full-fat milk: 0.3 glass
5
Begin to froth and remove the coffee from the heat.
- Ground coffee: 1 tablespoon
6
Warm the cup for cappuccino (it's better to use a wide cup with thick walls instead of a mug), then pour in the coffee after a minute.
7
Open the milk can, pour the liquid milk in a thin stream, scoop the fluffy foam with a spoon, and gently place it on top of the drink.
- Full-fat milk: 0.3 glass
