Scandinavian Mulled Wine

Scandinavian glögg is a warming drink that takes us to the snowy streets of Northern Europe, where winter evenings become cozier with a cup of aromatic hot wine. This version of classic glögg is rich and intense due to the combination of port wine, sherry, and madeira. Spices like cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon give the drink a subtle, warm aroma, while the final touch—flambéing brandy with sugar—makes it festive and unique. Almonds and raisins add textural complexity, while lemon slices refresh and balance the flavor. Scandinavian glögg is perfect for Christmas evenings, friendly gatherings by the fireplace, or simply enjoying the atmosphere of Northern coziness.
