Clean the rhubarb from the skin and cut it into two-centimeter pieces, place it in a deep saucepan, and pour in a glass of water mixed with sugar.
- Rhubarb: 1 kg
- Sugar: 100 g

Place the saucepan on the heat and boil, stirring occasionally, for ten minutes (time starts from when the water boils).
