Mix water and sugar in a saucepan.
- Water: 160 ml
- Sugar: 80 g

Add cinnamon, clove, star anise, and cardamom.
- Cinnamon sticks: 1 piece
- Carnation: 10 pieces
- Anise (star anise): 2 pieces
- Cardamom: 5 piece

Bring the syrup to a boil.
