Ryabinovka na chokeberry

Recipe from Seraphim Sarkisyan, head bartender of the restaurant "Merchants and Oysters". A surprisingly simple liqueur to make, but wonderful in every sense. Bitter-sweet rowan berries, caught by the first frost, perfectly draw out the heavy vodka alcohol and flavor.

Place frozen berries in a sealed container with a lid, pour vodka over them, and store in a dark place.
- Black chokeberry: 2.5 kg
- Vodka: 1.5 l

After 7 days, add sugar syrup and let it steep for another 3 days (this way vodka extracts all the flavors better).
- Sugar syrup: 300 ml

Strain, pour into a clean bottle, seal, and consume as needed.
