Granola with chocolate and lemon balm is a refined European version of the classic breakfast, harmoniously combining nuts, chocolate, and fragrant lemon balm. The origins of granola date back to the early 20th century when it emerged as a nutritious and healthy snack. In this recipe, oats are combined with pistachios, almonds, and Brazil nuts to create a crunchy texture, while cocoa and chocolate chips add rich chocolate notes. Lemon balm brings freshness and a light citrus hint, making the flavor more sophisticated. This type of granola is perfect as a standalone snack or paired with yogurt or milk.
