Oatmeal with spices, pecans, and orange jam is a true gastronomic delight inspired by Russian culinary traditions. Its aroma awakens warm memories of home comfort, while the rich flavor with spicy notes of anise, cinnamon, and vanilla makes each spoonful magical. Hercules cooked in milk with spices acquires a tender texture, and the orange jam adds a light tang and fruity freshness. Crunchy pecans complete the flavor symphony, giving the porridge a pleasant aftertaste. This porridge is perfect for a leisurely breakfast that energizes you for the whole day or a cozy evening when you want to indulge in something warming. Each serving is a small journey into a world of aromas and flavors that fills the day with warmth and enjoyment.

Boil the milk in a saucepan with sugar, gingerbread paste, and all spices (grind the anise seeds in a mortar; grate the orange peel without the white film; cut the vanilla pod in half and scrape out the small black seeds). Add the oats to the milk and cook, stirring occasionally, until the desired thickness is reached.
