Zucchini waffles are a delicate and aromatic dish of Russian cuisine that combines simplicity of preparation with amazing flavor. Thin waffle crusts envelop a juicy filling of young zucchinis, onions, and spices, creating a harmony of textures and taste nuances. A sour cream sauce with herbs and cucumber adds freshness and lightness, making them an ideal snack or light breakfast. The history of the dish is rooted in the traditions of Russian home cooking, where vegetable pancakes and fritters have always held a special place.
