Vareniki with cottage cheese - our "Golden Thousand" couldn't do without them! Another classic among Russian dough moldings.

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Beat the egg with water, milk, and a teaspoon of salt.
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Water: 125 ml
- Milk: 125 ml
- Salt: to taste

Add sifted flour and knead the dough. This can be done with a mixer, then knead the dough by hand. Pour 20 ml of vegetable oil on the table and incorporate it into the dough; the dough will become more elastic from the oil.
- Wheat flour: 450 g
- Vegetable oil: 20 ml

Pour 20 ml of vegetable oil on the table and mix it into the dough; the oil will make the dough more elastic. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
- Vegetable oil: 20 ml

Mix the cottage cheese with sugar and a pinch of salt.
- Cottage cheese: 600 g
- Sugar: 50 g
- Salt: to taste

Roll out a part of the dough.

Cut circles using a special cutter or a regular glass.

Place a spoonful of filling on the dough and tightly seal the edges, trying not to leave air inside the dumplings. Place the finished dumplings on a floured surface.
- Cottage cheese: 600 g
- Wheat flour: 450 g

Boil water in a large pot, add some salt and drop in the dumplings, wait for them to float, then cook for another 5 minutes. Place the cooked dumplings in a large bowl with butter.
