Homemade White Bread Crackers

Homemade croutons from white bread are a simple yet exquisite dish of Russian cuisine that has come to us from the depths of centuries. Croutons not only complement main dishes but also serve as an independent snack. Their crispy texture, infused with the aroma of garlic and spices, makes them an ideal addition to soups or salads. Baking in the oven gives them a golden hue and rich flavor. The taste of these croutons is a harmonious blend of mild saltiness, delicate garlic spiciness, and light herbal freshness. They pair perfectly with traditional borscht as well as modern cream soups and can also be a great accompaniment to evening tea time. The recipe maintains simplicity and accessibility, making these croutons a beloved treat in every home.
