Gougeres

Gougeres are exquisite French cheese puffs from the Burgundy region. They have a delicate airy structure due to choux pastry and a rich creamy cheese flavor with a hint of mustard and pepper spiciness. Gougeres are traditionally served as an aperitif with wine; they can be enjoyed as a standalone snack or an accompaniment to main dishes. After baking, they become golden and crispy on the outside while remaining soft and chewy inside. At the end of preparation, the puffs are brushed with aromatic garlic and herb butter, giving them a special spiciness. They are perfect for festive tables or cozy family dinners, turning an ordinary day into a gastronomic delight.
