Braised squid is a tender and aromatic dish from Russian cuisine, where seafood meets traditional flavors. Carrots add a light sweetness, while sautéed onions contribute softness and depth of flavor. The squid remains firm yet tender after quick cooking, absorbing the aromas of vegetables and oil. This dish is often prepared as an appetizer or side dish, served with boiled potatoes or rice. Due to its quick preparation and minimal ingredients, braised squid is perfect for a light dinner while preserving the sea flavor without unnecessary complexity.
