Croutons made from white bread with hard cheese are a simple yet sophisticated snack from European cuisines, where the combination of crunchy texture and rich cheese flavor is valued. They are perfect as an addition to soups, salads, or as a standalone treat for evening gatherings. Thanks to garlic and fragrant vegetable oil, the croutons gain zest, while baked hard cheese gives them an appetizing crust. Crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, they charm with their balance of flavors and versatility. Especially successful when paired with beer or wine, creating a relaxed atmosphere for cozy meetings. The simplicity of preparation makes this recipe accessible to everyone, and using yesterday's bread is a smart and economical choice that turns ordinary bread into a culinary delight.
