Pear jam with poppy seeds

Pear jam with poppy seeds is an unusual combination of the soft sweetness of pears and the nutty aroma of poppy seeds. This dessert emerged in European cuisine due to a love for exquisite and harmonious flavors. Pears soaked in thick syrup give the jam a delicate texture, while poppy adds a subtle crunch, making it truly original. This sweet duet pairs wonderfully with toast, pancakes, or even as a filling for pastries. Lemon juice added before the final boiling enhances the freshness of the fruits and balances the sweetness. The jam is prepared with periodic cooling, which helps preserve its rich flavor and pleasant consistency. It will not only adorn your table but also serve as a special treat that evokes warm memories of cozy evenings at home.
