Glazed curds are a true delicacy that originates from Russian cuisine. They combine the tenderness of fatty cottage cheese, creamy softness, and a subtle citrus note of orange zest. During preparation, the curds are covered with a thick layer of bitter chocolate, creating a rich contrast with their delicate filling. Nut crumbs add a textural twist, while patterns of milk chocolate make them not only tasty but also aesthetically pleasing. These curds are perfect as a dessert or cozy snack, especially when paired with aromatic coffee or hot tea. Their popularity is explained by the simplicity of preparation and the refined taste that can easily become a family favorite.

Pass the cottage cheese through a sieve or beat it with cream using a mixer, add powdered sugar, finely grated orange zest, and vanilla sugar. The mixture should be sticky and thick. With wet hands, roll the mixture into bars or balls, or place them in small silicone molds for candies or ice, pressing well. Put the bars in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.
