Dietary cheesecakes in an air grill

Dietary syrniki in an air fryer are a modern version of the classic Russian treat, adapted for healthy eating. They retain a tender texture and rich cottage cheese flavor but without excess calories thanks to using stevia instead of sugar and minimal semolina. The air fryer allows for an even golden crust without extra oil. These syrniki are perfect for breakfast or a light snack, and their preparation is a quick and simple process. They can be served with fresh berries, honey, or low-fat yogurt to create a harmony of flavors. This recipe is especially appreciated by those who follow proper nutrition as it combines the benefits of cottage cheese, low calorie content, and excellent taste. This version of syrniki offers comfort in every serving without compromising on figure.

1
Break the chicken egg, add semolina, baking powder (on the tip of a teaspoon), stevia (3 g of dry stevia equals 1 tablespoon of sugar). Blend with a blender.
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Semolina: 1 tablespoon
- Baking powder: 3 g
- Stevia extract: 3 ml
2
Add cottage cheese to the mixture and stir.
- Soft cottage cheese: 250 g
3
Turn on the air grill to preheat (my Hotter heats up to 260 degrees in 6 minutes). I usually preheat for 4-5 minutes.
4
While the air fryer is heating up, place baking paper on the middle rack (I trim the edges of the paper to fit the rack shape so the long edges don't curl and obstruct the hot air from cooking the syrniki). Place the cheese balls on the paper and shape them as needed. This makes 8 syrniki. I do not coat them in flour.
5
Place the rack with cheese pancakes in the preheated air grill. Set to low speed at 150 degrees for 20-23 minutes. Pancakes made from fatty cottage cheese (over 5%) turn out more golden.
