Cinnamon cookies are a cozy treat that warms with the aroma of spices and gentle sweetness. Its roots trace back to Russian cuisine, where cinnamon has long been used to give baked goods a rich flavor. Thin layers of dough soaked in butter and sprinkled with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon create an exquisite balance of softness and crunch. A delicate nutty accent from added pecans enhances the flavor even more. When warm, the cookies reveal their charm—they melt in your mouth, leaving a pleasant aftertaste. They pair perfectly with a cup of tea or coffee, filling the moment with coziness. This treat is not only for the soul but also for special occasions when you want to delight yourself or loved ones with something unusual yet simple to prepare.
