Cinnamon and raisin cookies are a cozy and aromatic treat from Russian cuisine. This dessert combines the richness of cinnamon, the sweetness of raisins, and the tenderness of airy dough. Cinnamon gives the cookies a warm, spicy aroma that evokes feelings of home comfort. Raisins add a pleasant fruity note that balances the flavor. They are served as a standalone treat with tea or coffee and can also be decorated with sugar glaze for added sweetness. In Russian culinary traditions, such cookies are often made for holidays or family gatherings. Their simplicity makes them accessible even for novice cooks, while their soft texture and rich taste delight both children and adults.
