Apple pie with crunchy cashews is a delightful dessert rooted in German cuisine, known for its love of baking. Its base is a thin, crumbly dough complemented by a juicy apple filling with a delicate aroma of cinnamon and lemon. The secret of this pie lies in the caramelized cashews that give it a crunchy texture and exquisite sweetness. It’s the perfect dessert for tea or coffee and can be served warm or chilled. With a balanced combination of tart-sweet apples, rich nut crumble, and crispy dough, the pie becomes a true centerpiece at any gathering. It's easy to make and will impress even the most discerning gourmets. German housewives often bake it in the fall when apples are particularly fragrant and juicy.
