Muffins made with kefir and chocolate are a delicate treat that originated from American cuisine but have become beloved in many parts of the world. Their uniqueness lies in the airy, slightly moist texture thanks to the kefir, which adds a light tang and makes the baked goods especially soft. The chocolate hidden inside melts during baking, creating appetizing chocolate pockets. This dessert is perfect for cozy home tea parties, festive occasions, or simply as a morning delight with a cup of coffee. The simplicity of preparation makes it accessible even for novice cooks, and the result is always delightful – the muffins turn out fragrant, sweet, and melt-in-your-mouth.

Beat the sugar with the egg, then add the kefir and oil. Continue beating the mixture until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Sugar: 0.5 glass
- Kefir: 0.5 glass
- Butter: 50 g

In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour and baking soda. You can also add a bit of cocoa powder (about 3 tablespoons). Pour the resulting mixture into the liquid ingredients and knead the dough. It should not be thick. The approximate consistency is like for pancakes.
- Wheat flour: 0.8 glass
- Soda: 0.3 teaspoon

Fill the greased molds with batter about halfway. Place pieces or shavings of chocolate in the center. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes at 170 degrees. If not browned, increase the temperature. They turn out very tender.

- Chocolate: to taste
