Flourless apple-banana casserole is a tender and airy dessert that captivates from the first bite. Its history traces back to European cuisine, where cottage cheese casseroles hold a special place. This version stands out for its lightness and the natural sweetness of the fruits. The combination of apples and bananas creates a harmonious balance of flavors—tart-sweet notes of apples are complemented by the softness of bananas. The casserole is perfect for those seeking a healthy and delicious dessert without flour. It is great for breakfast or a light snack, requiring minimal effort to prepare. Thanks to the cottage cheese, the dish is nutritious and rich in protein, while baking makes it especially aromatic. It can be served warm or chilled, complemented with honey, nuts, or cinnamon.

1
Place sliced bananas and apples (or just apples) at the bottom of the mold. Pour over a mixture of cottage cheese, eggs, sour cream (or yogurt), and sugar.
- Bananas: 1 piece
- Apple: 2 pieces
- Cottage cheese: 250 g
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Sour cream: 1.5 tablespoon
- Sugar: 1.5 tablespoon
2
Place everything in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. Bake for about an hour.
3
Turn off the oven but do not take it out for another 10 minutes. The casserole will rise well and taste very light and delicate.
