This chicken pie with vegetables and cheese on ready-made yeast dough is a true gastronomic delight. A European classic inspired by traditional homemade pies, it combines juicy chicken meat, aromatic mushrooms, and fresh vegetables to create a rich and balanced flavor. Tomato paste adds a gentle tanginess while spices bring zest. The finishing touch is grated cheese that melts during baking, enveloping the filling in an appetizing golden crust. This pie is perfect for a cozy family dinner or a festive feast. Its airy dough and juicy filling make each serving a small masterpiece of culinary art.

1
Separate the chicken breasts from the bones and cut them into small pieces. Add salt to taste and sweet pepper. If you like it spicier, you can add chili pepper.
- Chicken breast: 500 g
- Sweet pepper: 1 piece
- Spices: to taste
2
Cut the vegetables and mushrooms.
- Mushrooms: 200 g
- Onion: 2 pieces
- Young zucchini: 1 piece
3
Fry the meat and vegetables in vegetable oil and add spices to taste.

We mix the fried meat with vegetables and tomato paste and let it simmer a bit. If you find the filling too dry, you can add a little water or chicken broth. But I usually get a juicy and aromatic filling even without extra liquid.
- Tomato paste: 200 g
- Chicken breast: 500 g
- Mushrooms: 200 g
- Onion: 2 pieces
- Sweet pepper: 1 piece
- Young zucchini: 1 piece

We take the finished filling off the stove and let it cool, while we start preparing the dough. You can use store-bought dough or make it from your favorite recipe. I usually use store-bought yeast dough - it's quick and tasty.
6
We mix the dough and let it breathe a bit. Then we need to roll out the dough and cut out circles for the future pies.

Now that the filling has cooled, it can be placed in the pastries. I make small pastries, so one tablespoon of filling per pastry is quite enough.
- Chicken breast: 500 g
- Mushrooms: 200 g
- Onion: 2 pieces
- Sweet pepper: 1 piece
- Young zucchini: 1 piece
8
Before wrapping the pie, don't forget to sprinkle it with grated cheese.
- Hard cheese: 100 g
9
To make the pastries golden and crispy, you can brush the wrapped pastries with egg yolk.
- Sugar: 1 g
10
Bake the prepared pies in the oven at 250 degrees until ready (it takes about half an hour in my electric oven).
- Yeast dough: 1000 g
