Tyrolean pie is a true Austrian masterpiece infused with the aroma of mountain meadows and traditional baking. Its roots trace back to the heart of Tyrol, where bakers created tender and crumbly pies filled with ripe fruits and berries. The special texture of the dough—crispy on top and soft inside—makes each bite incredibly cozy. The rich fruity flavor enhanced by vanilla sugar offers sweet notes of freshness. Serving the pie with a sprig of mint adds sophistication, while the slight tartness of the berries makes it a perfect complement to a cup of aromatic coffee. This pie is not just a dessert but a true gastronomic journey into Austria's mountain valleys.

1
First, soften the butter, add eggs and sugar, and mix until a uniform consistency is achieved.
- Butter: 100 g
- Chicken egg: 4 pieces
- Sugar: 0.5 glass
2
Next, sift the flour and mix it with salt and baking powder. This mixture should be added to the egg mixture and kneaded into a uniform dough.
- Wheat flour: 1.5 glass
- Salt: pinch
- Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
3
Then, the mold should be lined with baking paper, half of the dough placed in it and pressed down well to create edges. The remaining half of the dough should be put in the fridge for about thirty minutes to firm up.
4
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Then place the mold with the dough in the oven for five minutes. After five minutes, increase the temperature to 190 degrees and bake for another seven minutes.
5
While the dough is baking, mix the fruits or berries with vanilla sugar (if using fruits, they should be cut into small pieces).
- Vanilla sugar: 2 teaspoons
- Fresh berries: 500 g
6
Then, take the cake out of the oven and top the base with a filling of berries and fruits.
7
The dough that was in the fridge needs to be taken out, grated, sprinkled over the berries, and baked for another half hour.
8
The pie can be decorated with a fresh sprig of mint.
- Salt: pinch
