Banana Pakoras

Banana pakoras are an amazing combination of a crispy crust and a tender, sweet banana heart. This recipe, inspired by traditional Indian snacks, has gained popularity in European cuisine as a gourmet treat. Spices like cinnamon and turmeric give the batter a warm aroma and golden hue, while the crunchy coating perfectly complements the softness of the bananas. Fried to an appetizing golden color, the pakoras are dusted with powdered sugar, creating a harmony of flavors — the delicate sweetness of the fruit with a hint of spice from the batter. Served as a dessert or unusual snack, they pair perfectly with tea, coffee or even a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It's a little indulgence that can make any tea time special!
