Mix softened butter with sugar and beat with a mixer until a light mixture is obtained.
- Butter: 200 g
- Sugar: 200 g

Add an egg, a spoonful of vanilla sugar, and mix with a mixer.
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Baking powder: 0.5 teaspoon

Add half a teaspoon of salt and the same amount of baking soda to the flour.

Then gradually add the flour and mix the dough thoroughly, it's better to do this by hand. The dough should form a smooth ball that doesn't stick to your hands.
- Wheat flour: 400 g

Then we tear off small pieces from the dough and form balls, which should be slightly pressed by hand and placed on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. It's better to make small cookies about 4-5 cm in size, and the distance between the cookies should be at least 2 cm, as the cookies expand during baking.

Now, the most interesting part for kids is decorating cookies with M&M's candies.

Bake for 10-15 minutes. I baked for 12 minutes until the bottom of the cookie was golden brown. Then I took it out of the oven and let it cool.
