Candies made from dried fruits, candied fruits, and nuts are a true delight for lovers of natural sweets. Their roots go back to European culinary traditions where simple yet exquisite desserts without artificial additives are valued. Aromatic nuts, honey, and citrus candied fruits create a harmony of flavors: the sweetness of dates and cranberries is balanced by the light acidity of lemon juice, while the delicate texture is complemented by crunchy nut pieces. These candies require no thermal processing, preserving maximum nutrients. They are perfect for a healthy snack, an energy source before workouts or with morning coffee. The coating of cocoa, cinnamon or coconut flakes adds new flavor nuances making each candy unique. The simplicity of preparation allows for experimentation in creating your own variations of this healthy treat.
