Chocolate pie is a true embodiment of French pastry magic. Its history is rooted in the rich traditions of French cuisine, where chocolate holds a special place. The smooth, delicate texture of the pie is achieved by combining melted dark chocolate and butter, giving it a rich flavor with subtle caramel notes. Whipped eggs make the dessert airy, while powdered sugar adds sweet elegance. Prepared in a water bath, this pie gains incredible moisture that literally melts in your mouth. Serving it chilled allows all the flavor nuances to unfold, making it a perfect conclusion to a meal. It is wonderful as a standalone dessert but can be complemented with fresh berries or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for added sophistication.

1
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Grease the baking pan and place parchment paper.

It is best to bake the pie in a water bath, which protects the dessert from direct heat sources, helping to ensure a moist texture. Pour some hot water into the saucepan so that it does not cover more than half the height of the pie. Place the mold in the center of the saucepan and bake in the oven for 1 hour. Then cool and refrigerate overnight.
