The 'Owl' muffins are not just a dessert but a true work of art that combines the softness of chocolate pastry with the crunchy texture of Oreo cookies. This original recipe is inspired by the idea of creating a fun and unique treat perfect for children's parties or cozy family evenings. The rich chocolate flavor is complemented by the gentle sweetness of Nutella, while the playful eyes made from cookies and M&M's give the muffins a whimsical character. Easy to make, they require no complicated ingredients but look impressive and bring smiles to everyone who tries them. They pair perfectly with a cup of hot cocoa or milk, becoming a symbol of home comfort and festive spirit.

1
First, we bake chocolate muffins. Beat an egg into the milk.
- Milk: 200 ml
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
2
Add flour to the resulting mass (sifted beforehand). Whisk.
- Wheat flour: 300 g
3
Add sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and vanilla sugar, and mix everything thoroughly with a mixer.
- Sugar: 150 g
- Cocoa: 2 tablespoons
- Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla sugar: 1 teaspoon
4
Melt the butter (100 g) and add it to the dough.
- Butter: 120 g
5
Grease the muffin tins with the remaining butter and fill them with batter, not to the top.
- Butter: 120 g
6
Bake the muffins in a preheated oven for 20 minutes.
7
Next, we decorate the muffins with cookies and candies.

8
If the muffins have risen too much or have a strongly curved top, it's better to cut it off.
9
Spread Nutella on top.
- Nutella®: 1 jar
10
Split the Oreo cookie into 2 halves, we need the ones with the white filling (it's best to separate them with a knife). Place the cookie with the white cream facing up. The dark halves can be cut into thin strips to make eyebrows.
- Oreo cookies: 2 pieces
11
We use M&M's candies without nuts (brown packaging): place brown candies on the white filling - pupils, and insert yellow or orange ones (whichever you prefer) into Nutella below the eyes - beak.
- M&M's candies: to taste
