Nut rolls with honey are a true symphony of flavors embodying the traditions of Russian cuisine. Crispy puff pastry soaked in sweet honey harmoniously combines with aromatic nuts, creating a rich, delicate, and slightly caramel flavor. This treat dates back to ancient Russian recipes where honey was used not only as a sweetener but also as a symbol of prosperity. It is perfect as an exquisite dessert for tea or coffee and will adorn any festive table. The simplicity of preparation makes these rolls accessible even for novice cooks, while their golden color and sweet aroma fill the home with warmth and coziness.

1
I use ready-made frozen puff pastry. We thaw it at room temperature.
- Puff pastry: 1 piece
2
During this time, we will prepare the nuts. We will chop the nuts in a blender (the main thing is not to turn the whole mass into dust), then we add sugar to the nuts.
- Nuts: 1 glass
- Sugar: 2 tablespoons
3
Lightly beat the egg with a whisk. Roll out the dough without making the sheets too thin so that it can be rolled into a log later. Brush the dough with egg. Sprinkle with nut crumbs. Press them down to prevent them from falling off. Roll into a tight log and cut into pieces (as you wish, I got 5 pieces from one sheet).
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Puff pastry: 1 piece
- Nuts: 1 glass
4
Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, pre-greased with butter. Then pour honey over them (to taste).
- Honey: 4 tablespoons
5
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, place the rolls inside, and bake until the dough starts to turn golden (20-30 minutes). Additional time may be needed.
