Baked apples with nuts and dried fruits are a cozy dessert that fills the home with warmth and the aromas of cinnamon. The origins of this dish trace back to European culinary traditions where simple natural ingredients create true culinary masterpieces. The tender flesh of baked apples pairs wonderfully with crunchy nuts, sweet raisins, and fragrant dried apricots. The addition of honey adds a soft caramelized note while orange juice refreshes the flavor, making it multifaceted. This dish is perfect for a family breakfast or a cozy tea time, and its healthy ingredients make it a light and nutritious treat. Baked apples can be served warm, complemented by a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a spoonful of yogurt to create harmony of flavors and textures.

1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
2
Next, it is necessary to wash the raisins and dried apricots well. Chop the walnuts and dried apricots finely (if the dried fruits are hard, soak them in warm water for 20-30 minutes to soften them).
- Raisin: 50 g
- Dried apricots: 50 g
- Walnuts: 35 g
3
We mix, add cinnamon, and mix again.
- Cinnamon: 0.3 teaspoon
4
We wash the apples, cut them in half, and remove the seeds, carving out the center of the apple so that a teaspoon of dried fruits with nuts fits well there.
- Apple: 4 pieces
5
To make the halves more stable and prevent anything from spilling out, carefully cut the bottom of the apples.
6
We grease the dish with butter and place the apples. We fill the halves with the filling.
- Honey: 2 teaspoons
7
Pour 1/4 teaspoon of honey into each half's filling.
8
Cover with foil (or a lid) and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes. After that, take out the apples and drizzle them with freshly squeezed orange juice.
- Oranges: 1 piece
9
Put it back in the oven, but without foil this time, and bake for another 10-15 minutes or until done. You can check readiness by poking the apple with a toothpick or by the color of the skin—it should turn yellow. Cooking time depends on the variety of apples, so monitor this process.
