Creamy ice cream with cookies is a delicate treat that combines an airy creamy texture with crunchy pieces of chocolate cookies. This dessert has American roots and is inspired by the iconic 'cookies & cream' combination that has won the hearts of sweet lovers worldwide. Its flavor is a harmony of sweetness, creamy richness, and a light chocolate bitterness from Oreo cookies. It is easy to prepare: cream, sour cream, and milk are combined with sugar and then mixed with fragrant cookie crumbs. After freezing, the ice cream becomes refreshing and melts in your mouth, while garnishing with whole cookies adds aesthetics and textural contrast. It’s the perfect dessert for a summer day or cozy evening, bringing joy and nostalgia for childhood delights.

1
Crush the cookies into coarse crumbs. You can put the cookies in a clean bag and hit them with a rolling pin, use a blender, or just use your hands, whichever is more convenient. The main thing is that the crumbs should not be too fine. If the creamy filling between the cookies bothers you, you can scrape it off and not use it. Or you can use it — whichever you prefer.
