Bacon and Mozzarella Pie

Bacon and mozzarella pie is an amazing combination of juicy bacon, tender mozzarella, and aromatic herbs. Although it is attributed to Thai cuisine, it has a European touch due to Italian ingredients. The flavor of the pie balances the rich creaminess of the cheese with the spiciness of the bacon, complemented by the freshness of basil and the acidity of tomatoes. The puff pastry gives it airiness and lightness. It is perfect for a cozy dinner, festive gathering, or simply enjoying with family. The aroma that fills the kitchen during its preparation awakens appetite and anticipation for a delicious treat. It can be served as a standalone dish, complemented by a light salad or a glass of red wine. This pie is an example of how simple ingredients transform into true gastronomic pleasure.

1
Roll out the dough and place it in the bottom of the mold, making small edges.
- Puff pastry: 250 g

2
Cut the bacon into pieces and lay them out next to each other (my form was tightly packed with bacon — the whole pack of bacon).
- Bacon: 250 g

3
Chop the basil and lay it out in a thick layer as well.
- Basil: 1 bunch

4
Layer slices of tomato and mozzarella (I used 4-5 tomatoes and 2.5 packs of mozzarella), then sprinkle with Italian herbs (or just add pepper).
- Tomatoes: 5 piece
- Mozzarella cheese: 300 g
- Italian Herb Blend: to taste

5
Place in the oven, bake at 180 degrees for exactly 30 minutes, then check the state of the dough - the main thing is that it is well baked.
