Cherry muffins are a delightful treat from Armenian cuisine, combining the tenderness of the dough with the sweet-sour taste of juicy cherries. This recipe is rooted in Armenian baking traditions, where fruits are used to give desserts rich flavor and aroma. Cocoa powder adds chocolate notes, while vanilla essence gives a subtle touch to the taste. These muffins are perfect for a cozy family tea time or festive gatherings. They can be served warm when they are especially soft or chilled for a denser texture. The aroma of freshly baked cherry awakens the appetite, and each bite is filled with pleasure. The ease of preparation makes this recipe accessible even for beginner cooks.

Mix the egg mixture with flour and add room temperature butter, beating well with a mixer until the butter lumps disappear.

Add milk and knead well again.
